"Alright now that we've got it here we've got to get that, we've got to compress that bottom a whole lot more. I guarantee if we just try to make it flat and make it look pretty it hasn't had enough compression put on it. So we're going to take our black rib here, it's the real strong one, and we want to push that clay into the lip like that. If you have to remove some that's fine. You don't want it folding in on itself in there. Because that'll lead to problems. So go ahead and push in. And make sure you get enough water on that so you don't get a chatter. With this flatware the rib will start chattering on you like that and then you'll never get rid of that. Alright? So right there we're getting close to looking like a plate. Alright. You even this up because it's starting to go out. And like I said I'll tell it when it goes out. It doesn't need to flop on me. Fold it in on itself. You want things to have their shape right at the end. It's really important. You don't want to throw it with it's shape because then it loses it's integrity. So there, clean up the bottom a little bit. Push it in. I want to bring all that clay that I got on the bottom to the top."
