"Here I drew a pair of athletic-type shorts. Of course, I added heels and a little hoodie and I have these as being boxer, like actually boxing short type shorts, but they're short. I would envision them in, again, like a satin-type of material. But, I like the line on them because it gives it a hint of athleticism without actually being workout-ish, especially if you choose colors and fabrics that don't look like you're going to go to the gym, is what you add in. Unless you're drawing something for actually gym wear, a gym wear collection, you want to draw something, if you're doing ready-to-wear evening wear, draw a pair of evening wear shorts and you can have the piping on them like that, like a pair of regular running shorts, but make them in satin. You can add embellishments if you want. I'm not big on embellishment. But they're just very easy to draw and then when you're doing that if want them to be representational of something you would wear out, like evening wear, add heels. That's the quickest way. Think "Sex and the City." When Sarah Jessica Parker wears the little shorts and the heels, we all think why is she running on the streets of New York in that? That's really retarded looking. But, do we all remember it? Yes. So it may not work, persay in reality, but if it's memorable, it'll always, you'll always have somebody making a reference back to it."
