"Ok. Now that I'm done centering. I've used my slip. I'll go ahead and clean up. And there is a technique to cleaning up, too. I learned this from a Japanese tea pot maker. He'd do like this. But he'd do it real fast. It's amazing. And take a slip, there, save it. You don't need all that, right now. So, for a potter, these are clean hands. You want to go ahead. Check our centering. Because we'll make sure where's the center, by doing that. You're going to take your index finger. Hold it real steady. Right next to the, right next to the mound. That's centered. If it was hit, if the mound of clay was bumping into my finger. And bumping into my finger. You know, you're not centered. Just go back and center it. Because it's not going to go away. You need to have that piece. Not centered but one hundred percent, doesn't really matter. You can center it while you're going. But it needs to be relatively centered because it's not going to work it's way out. Its going to get worse and worse and worse, as you go."
