"All right so I'm going to make my shoyu bottle. So I don't need to gather that much clay. Right about, yes about that much. That could be perfect. That's maybe a quarter pound, about that. I like my stuff a little on the heavy side. It's consistently heavy and not bottom heavy. So that's a good place to be. If your stuff's bottom heavy you need to work on your throwing skills. So there we go I have established the bottom, it's going to be right there and we're going to go ahead and we're going to plunge with our thumbs. I'm plunging and I'm pulling out and I'm pressing and there. So what I'm doing is I just went down and I plunged out with my thumbs and then when I plunged out I put the outer walls and then I came back with my thumbs and I compressed the bottom. So it's a three part move with a kind of one, one movement. So there we've established the walls. The bottom's compressed. Compress, compress, compress off the hump. You must compress. So even it out. All right we're getting ready to do some pulls."
