"Alright, so these spouts are tiny; they're so tiny they barely exist but you want them nice and small. So I pulled up like that much clay right there; I'm going to throw a couple practice ones. You just kind of open it up just a little bit o.k. You're going to open it up, find out where it is, the bottom, get your walls established make it really nice and thin. And then you got to make it thin, super thin because we're going to collar it and it's going to make it thick when we collar it. You don't want it too thick because you won't be able to pour your shoyu or your olive oil and then just collar it in; pull that off, collar it alright. There's a little spout, see that little spout and I like my spouts about that big, and I'm going to want to take my sponge and clean that little do-hickey off the top there maybe even clean it up with the needle tool there, o.k. Once again this spout might be tiny. It's going to shrink up 30%. So with that hole by the time it shrinks up during the firing process it's going to be perfect, shoyu's going to come out real nice."
