"Hi, I'm Keeley Selvage with Keeley's Skin Solutions. I've been a licensed clinical aesthetician for over half a decade and I'm going to talk to you about some tips for laser hair removal. You're thinking about getting rid of that hair, maybe getting ready for your bikini body, going to the beach, well here are some excellent tips. Now the thing is with laser hair removal, the laser is attracted to pigment, so you want to avoid the sun before your treatment. If you go in there with a tan, chances are, they're going to turn you away. So avoid the sun. Also, you might need to shave the area before you go in. You want to consult the technician or the physician before you actually go in to see how they want it. Sometimes they want you to shave that day, sometimes three days before. Again, check with them, because if it's wrong, they may have to turn you away so you don't want to do that. Also, do your research on the kind of machine that they use. Different lasers are better for different areas of the body, and also some might cause more discomfort than others, so that's something that you want to do. Check to see if the technician is experienced. It really does matter. If they're certified, if they're licensed to use this laser, then chances are they've had the training that's needed to give you the proper treatment. My name is Keeley Selvage with Keeley's Skin Solutions and those are some tips for laser hair removal."
