"I'm Keeley Selvage with Keeley's Skin Solutions. I've been a licensed clinical Aesthetician for over half a decade, and I'm going to give you some tips or some facts about laser hair removal. First of all a very common question is, does it hurt? Now with laser hair removal there is some discomfort, but really the discomfort isn't any stronger than maybe getting your legs waxed; so go for it if that's what you're worried about. Now also I've been asked; does it work? Is it permanent? Laser hair removal is 98 to 99 percent permanent; so you're almost there. That happens because your hair grows in different stages it's not possible to get all of the hair in one treatment or even several treatments so you'll have to come for touch ups. Also, how much does it cost? Really that's going to vary for the area that you're getting lasered, but now if you are getting a small area maybe on your face; a chin or an upper lip, I've seen them anywhere from two to 500 and that's usually for a series of 5 or 6 treatments. For a large area; like the legs you're looking at maybe 2 to 4 thousand, so it's quite a difference. Also you want to think about how many treatments you might need. Usually it's 5 or 6 treatments, but I've seen it for even more depending on your ethnicity, the color of your hair, how much hair you grow. So those are some tips and facts about laser hair removal. My name is Keeley Selvage with Keeley's Skin Solutions, your go to girl for skin."
