May average about 30,000 dollars a year. You'll be qualified for a position as an EMT with a one to two year vocational or technical degree. There's also voluntary certification available through the National Registry Of Emergency Medical Technicians. The vocational or Technical school programs also going to require you to take an Emergency Medical Technician Exam. This is going to be a fast paced and highly challenging area of expertise. You'll be in charge of transporting sick or injured people to a medical facility. So you'll be their first line of defense between whatever place the injury happened to the hospital.
