"Hello I'm Cheri Ashwood I'm a guidance counselor and today I'm going to tell you how much does a credit counselor make. A credit counselor is a person that consults with an individual on basically debt reduction, debt management and budgeting. You are going to average about forty five thousand dollars a year in this area and a credit counselor should have a strong foundation or educational background in accounting, business, economics and mathematics. If you are a credit counselor you are someone who should be very organized, someone who people could rely on and someone who definitely has their finances together to set an example. People will follow your example. You may work with individuals or you may work with businesses on strategies for managing their budgets and their debt. Debt is inevitable, being a credit counselor will certainly be in demand. I'm Cheri Ashwood I'm a guidance counselor and your future starts today."
