"Oh, hi there! I'm Teri and this segment is about how to find the best place to celebrate for a New Year's Eve. "Huh"! So it's a tough decision, Ive been looking through the paper, Ive been looking online. The first thing you want to decide is, do you want to just do a quiet evening or a group event at your house, then you don't have to go anywhere. And if you want to do that, you want to send out your invitations early, beginning of December because if you wait too late, everyone's going to find other things to do and you'll have, you left with no one at your party. So if you want to do that, you know have, maybe do a potluck and everyone bring something; have some party games ready; that could be a really nice fun evening. But if you want to hit the town 'cause you stay home a lot, well then you have to decide, you want to stay in your own city or town; and if you do, newspaper is a great place to check. There's all sorts of places, pick a maybe an upscale, fancy restaurant that you normally wouldn't go out to unless it's a special occasion. Lot of cities will have a fireworks display that you could hit, that would be free. Or maybe a convention center, kind of a dance or social that would be a lot of fun as well. Now if you want to travel, you want, your best bet is to look online for your best deals. You might want to go skiing in the Alps or how about Vegas; let's see what the flights are for Vegas right now. Or, how about Disney World? That'll be a fun place to spend New Year's, wouldn't it? Whatever you choose, the best place to spend New Year's eve is of course going to be with your friends, family and loved ones."
