How to Brighten Someone's Day

"Hi, there. I'm Teri and in this segment, I'm going to show you how to brighten someone's day. I was just shooting one of my friends an e-mail, someone that I hadn't spoken to in a while. So, that's one way that you can do it. Just shoot them a quick e-mail or an e-card and let them know that you miss them or you can't wait to see them next. Now, instead of an e-mail, you might want to be even more personal. Give them a quick phone call. It only takes a minute, and you'd be surprised how much it can brighten someone's day to get a call from someone that they miss, care about or haven't heard from in a while. Now, if you have the opportunity to actually go see them in person, I would recommend that more than the first two. You can pick up a little stuffed animal on the way there. They're inexpensive and they're such a great little cute gift for someone or maybe a nice little plant. Just something that says "hey, I'm thinking about you and I care about you." Now, you don't have to spend any money at all to brighten someone's day. Just a nice simple complement about what they're wearing, or how they look, or really something from the heart, what you think about their personality or their character would go along way for a lot of people. So that's some suggestions on how to brighten someone's day, and I'll tell you what, not only will you brighten their day, but seeing them happy and brighter, will also brighten your day as well, so brighten someone's day today."
