"Hi, I'm Teri and in this segment I'm going to teach you how to wrap a gift. So I have chosen a DVD to wrap for my birthday gift for a friend and I've gone ahead and pre-cut a piece of wrapping paper. Now what you want to do when you're cutting the wrapping paper is you want to make sure it's at least double the length of the gift or the width of the gift depending on how you're going to wrap it. So and it has to be a little longer than that so when I measured it, I made sure it's at least one...two lengths and then I gave it another inch. As well as for the tops and the bottoms, you want to give an inch on the top and an inch on the bottom so the gift wrap can actually wrap around the gift. So once I've gone ahead and measured and cut that out, I'm ready to wrap. So I always put the bottom on the gift on the bottom where you're going to be taping and the top of the gift at the top but you can do it either way. So I've got my Scotch tape. You want clear tape and I'm going to place my gift in the middle, exact middle of my wrapping paper. So it's even around on all sides. I've folded each piece in. I'm going to take my piece of tape and I'm going to place it right in the middle and I'm going to press it down tight. If you want, you can secure it with a couple more pieces of tape a little further up as well. Then you want to start doing the corners. The corners are the trickiest part. So you want to fold your gift in like so. Fold in the corners and then neatly fold this piece up. Then secure it with a piece of tape or two. Of course I do the same on the other side. Be careful not to have any ripples. Nice and smooth. We have a neatly wrapped gift. If you want to add a bow to it, go ahead and do that. Tape your card to the top. Go ahead and do that, too. We have our nicely wrapped gift."
