"Hi I'm Teri and in this segment I'm going to teach you how to have healthy hair; just like me. Now the one thing you want to do first of all is your diet of course. Be conscious of what you put in your body because it effects not only your skin and your nails, but of course your hair as well. The more fruits and vegetables and whole food products that you can put into your body you will notice it in the shine, in the thickness, and the health of your hair, and actually how fast it grows as well. You also want to keep up with regular trims with your hairstylist that will avoid split ends and then of course high quality shampoos and conditioners; don't skimp and go for the cheap stuff get something that you know, you know spend a little extra money in something that's going to work. You might want to ask your stylist for a good recommendation on what they like. I like a leave in conditioner personally, because I'm out in the sun a lot and what that does is that protects and coats my hair a little bit. Also you can buy the shine sprays; not only does it give your hair a nice shine;luster, but it also protects from (UV) ultraviolet light and sun fading and damage. And then of course always be conscientious of not using too many styling products; like blow dryers, or curling irons, or hair straighteners. Those are a killer on your hair, so avoid those whenever possible; and that's how to get healthy shiny hair."
