Summary: Apply cologne to places that sweat throughout the day, such as the neck, behind the earlobes, the inner elbows and the wrists. Avoid putting on too much cologne on, assuming that it will last all day, and consider the information from a hair and makeup artist in this free video on cologne.

"Hi, my name's Teri and in this segment I'm going to show you how to apply cologne. Now the one fatal mistake that a lot of people make, is they apply it too heavily. Now if you apply it in the proper spots along your body, it will last all day and you won't have to put such a heavy amount on. Some people think if they put a heavy amount in the morning, they'll still last in the evening. Well there's other ways to do it. Of course you can bring the small compact bottle of it with you and freshen up throughout the day. Or what's it's already on you can spritz some water on the spots that you've put it on and that will refresh it as well. So of course we all know the general area where we apply cologne, which is the neck area. But of course you can also do it behind your earlobes, works really well. And one of my favorite places is the pulse point. So right here in your inner elbow, or in your wrist, and as well in your inner elbow right here. Those are areas where we tend to sweat a little bit as well, so it brings out the aroma of the cologne. And another neat little trick is to spritz your hair with cologne as well. And that will keep the scent all day nice and fresh."
