"Making an international telephone call is relatively simple but there are some numbers to make it successful that you need to know to make it work. My name is Kathy Pabst Robshaw, telephone effectiveness. First thing you need to know is your access code, how to leave the country. For example the United States to call abroad, you need to know 011, that's your access code out. You then need to get a country code. In the front of the phonebook, in fact are a list of all the country codes. The UK I happen to know is forty-four, France is thirty-three, China is eighty-six. I happen to call those countries so I know those codes. Then you need to know the city code and then the telephone number that you have to dial. For example, pick up the phone, we're dialing 011 to get out of the United States, and then we're going to dial four four to get us into the UK, then we're going to dial the rest of the phone number, the city code and then the rest of the telephone number to get to my father in law. So remember all of those numbers that you need to make the call successful and effective and it'll be easy for you to do. Kathy Pabst Robshaw, telephone effectiveness."
