"Hi, I'm Lorna Campodonico, and we're going to be doing rag rolling. Now, there is a tool for this but it can be precarious to use. So, you can take a rag; of course you're going to wear gloves, I never wear gloves so, and you're going to get your glaze and you're going to roll the rag up as if it's a a sponge or about the same shape as the roller. You're going to ray, and then you're going to offload it onto the screen and you're going to take it from the top of the wall or whatever it is you're doing, and you're going to roll it down, and you get this paint kind of coagulation that goes on. And you're gonna; you need to kind of keep going over it because you'll end up with drips. And you just keep it; kind of looks like, you know, an animal lever or a distress lever, and you can incorporate different colors in this, and you can go back up. And you can get the rag where you put it on the roller, but for this demonstration I'm just showing you the effect. And let me go down again, and you just get kind of a cool reptile; a sort of print that goes on there. Now, see how it's dripping here? We're going to want to go back back up and pick up that paint, okay pick up the paint, pick up the paint. And you can take another drier rag and do this, but you can see how you get the the neat lines and sort of animal print look that goes on. And you can check in your paint store to see if they have rollers, rag rollers. They're kind of hard to find, but if you don't find it and you want to do it on a wall you can just use a bigger rag. It's time consuming, but the glaze stays wet so you have a lot of time to work it. And here, see how it's starting to form a drip again. You're just going to take it and roll it up and get that leathery look. And just keep finessing it. And that is how to rag roll, and I'm Lorna Campodonico."
