"Okay, flare fittings. I'm Robert Markey. I've been doing construction for many years, and we're going to talk about flexible tube flare fittings, okay? It's the way to join copper flexible tubing. You need a flare tubing set. For each different size tubing you have a different size hole in the in the thing here, and the first thing we do is we put the flare fitting on. Let's use this one. And then we take the beveled side; find the right one. There it is, and we'll have it just above the top of the thing here. And then, you take your your flaring tool and center it in the tubing. And as you tighten it down make sure these are tight, and it cuts, and it bends it into the flare, so it flares the copper, okay. Take it out; here's our flared copper. Goes onto the the piece, this goes down; I can crank it with the wrench. There you have it. I'm Robert Markey, and we've just done a copper flare fitting."
