"Let's talk about how to keep fleas from biting your dog. Well actually there's nothing on earth that will stop a flea from biting a dog. Unless it just can't get to the dog cause they are just tenacious and they are going to get on there. There are a lot of things to consider you are really talking about trying to prevent fleas or killing any fleas in the environment. So vacuum really well you know reduce brush and leaves and things like that outside to prevent fleas from accumulating first of all. Secondly what we really talk about are there are a lot of products on the market as far as killing fleas. Now products such as these they are placed on top of the skin usually monthly but fleas can still jump on your pet and fleas can still bite your pet. However they may die soon after they do so or within you know ten minutes let's say or thirty minutes after jumping on your dog. But generally there's no way to prevent a flea from truly biting your dog so the best thing to do is to be vigilant, clean the environment and use products to prevent fleas in the first place to prevent infestation so you don't have to worry about fleas biting your dog any way."
