"Hi my name is Sandy and I'm with the Maids Home Services. I wanted to talk about how to clean a kitchen floor tile. The first thing that you really want to do is make sure that you have a good all purpose cleaner for your tile floor. It's really all you need is a general all purpose cleaner. Make sure that when you load your pail that you know where your gallon and your two gallon two gallon markings is as far as where your water line goes. And be sure to use the proper measurements. Using too much product or not enough can cause a lot of problems with stickiness or not getting your floor clean. So you want to make sure that you have a floor brush. Some powder cleanser for tough stains, and then of course a good thick cloth to absorb water. You don't want to leave any wetness behind. I generally start off by wringing out the cloth and wiping the area to see what I'm looking at what kind of stains I'm dealing with. We can put that back in the water, I take the brush leave a little water on it just dip it in there, put a little powder cleanser, looks like some black marks, scuff marks and just scrub it in, add some water and move it around. In areas that you use a powdered cleanser you want to ensure that you are rinsing thoroughly to get all the powder cleanser up. You don't want to leave any debris behind it will certainly leave a white residue. So use really good straight overlapping strokes and square it out. Turn your cloth over and go at it again. The same area. Rinse everything out. Give your cloth a good rinsing, and make sure that it's gone over, I usually go over it a couple of times to make sure that all of the dirt and cleaner is up. And that would be how you could clean kitchen tile floor."
