"Hi, my name is Doctor Kim Makoi. I'm a Holistic Chiropractor from San Francisco California and this is how to do a lemonade fast. Lemonade fast was first popularized in 1941 in this little book called "The Master Cleanser" by Stanley Burroughs. A lot of people still refer to the lemonade fast as the master cleanse. It's a very simple fast and the way you do it is you mix two tablespoons of lemon juice with two tablespoons of Grade B Maple Syrup and about a tenth of a teaspoon of Cayenne pepper into a glass with eight ounces of clean water and you take six to twelve glasses of this mixture a day for up to ten days and you don't need any other foods and it's basically a great way to help the body rid itself of toxins and clear out some of the debris. So, as with any cleanse, you want to make sure that you're feeling healthy and strong when you start the fast and if you have any medical conditions, make sure to consult with your physician to make sure that it's safe and that's how you do a lemonade fast."
