Joel Hickerson, grindog.com, and today we're going to learn how to draw eyes. The first shape we're going to start with is just a simple line, and it's over the top of thee eye, and it kind of comes in and goes down, real simple. Kay? And then thee eye starts under there, like an ellipse, and thee iris itself. The pupil. Now there's always a light source coming from somewhere in on the eye, and you'll see like a white spot in them. Come in here and, and you determine where the lights coming from and you draw your spot. Kay? On a human, generally when you look at a face, there is an eyeball's distance between the two eyeballs. So you do the same thing on the other side. Remembering where your light source is coming from. That's your two eyes, and of course, you have your nose cavity in the middle, have an eyebrow, comes right over the top. On a guy, it's usually thicker than a girl. Say this side was a girl's, we would do a simpler, a thinner one, just to be a typically more feminine. And the girl's also blends itself to lashes. Of course a guy's is more of a, subtle, subtler approach. And there's always this little tear duct at the very front. Kay, and then you can come back and you can add the lids if you want, both on the top and the bottom. Of course, the older the eye, the more wrinkles and you might even have some smile lines that were on the side. Red, if you have a red marker, you might put a little red around the edge...lack of sleep. And that's how you draw eyes.
