"Joel Hickerson, Grin Dog Illustration and Design. Today we're going to learn how to draw curly hair. First thing you got to know is there's different kinds of curly hair. I'd say, we'll start with the real simple one, this is kind of like the Sandra Dee curly hair, kind of comes out and kind of curls up on the ends, very simple. Don't get caught up in the details when it comes to curly hair, because you can draw a million different curls and just keep drawing and drawing. So this one kind of flips up on the ends kind of curly hair, and maybe you put a little bow in the middle. That's one kind of curly hair. Another kind would be like the afro, which this is a really easy one because you're basically just making a big curly circle, kind of polish it off with a- there, and that's more of an afro type for me. And the last one might be the super curly girly. And you come in and you just basically draw in a bunch of squiggly lines and go all the way down the drawing. Again, keep it simple, don't get too caught up on where the curls are going, otherwise you'll be there all week drawing the curly hair. That's pretty much it, and if you want to stick a bow in that one you can do that too. There's three kinds of curly hair. And that's how you draw curly hair."
