"My name is Lauren and today I'm here to discuss how to repair broken hair. First thing's first is that, if you are breaking your hair due to a hot tool or curling iron, flat iron or maybe even just blowing your hair out, one of the best thing to do is avoid using your hot tools for a little while and avoid using thermal styling. Let your hair dry naturally and give it a break. You'll also, if your hair is damaged, you're going to want to purchase a conditioner and shampoo that is specially formulated for dry or damaged hair. Those shampoos and conditioners usually have a higher level of protein and plus a higher moisturizing content. Protein is what your hair is actually built out of. So you want something that is protein based in order to reconnect your proteins and strengthen your proteins. That will get you started in avoiding your hair from breaking. The moisture will help soften your hair, plus also bring your luster and natural shine back to your hair that you are probably stripping out because when your hair is damage, you lose that shine. Another good thing to do is to use some spray detanglers or to use very, like creamy leave-in conditioners and that will help keep your moisture in all day. You'll ultimately want to find something that is geared towards damaged hair and you will see that they usually have some sort of protein in them plus a moisturizer. It is essential for you to rebuild those proteins plus and moisture into your hair in order to get your hair back to a healthier state. If you are finding that your conditioners are not working or that your leave-ins are not working, you may also turn to oils in order to help your hair feel and nourish a little bit more. Tea tree oil is really, is, works really well and sort of certain vitamins you can use. The oil from a Vitamin E capsule and also put that in your hair and it will just help kind of give some moisture back into your hair that your hair is lacking. And that is how you repair damaged hair."
