"Hi. My name is Lauren, and today, I'm here to discuss with you how to style your hair. Styling your hair is a very broad topic. It depends on whether your hair is curly/straight, what look you were going for. So I'm briefly just going to go over the few choice things that you'll need in order to style your hair. You're going to need products. Products are the foundation of what is going to help you achieve your style, because it's going to help hold your style. If you're looking for volume, you're going to want to use a root lifter, which will go directly on the root of your hair. If you're looking for straightness, you're going to want anti-frizz. You're going to want to use a straightening product with some kind of anti-frizz. Usually, anti-frizz oils or essential oils like that have some sort of silicone, which coat over your hair cuticle and prevent your hair from frizzing. You're then going to want to find out what you want to do with it. If you're just blowing it out, you'll simply need your blow dryer and a round brush. Your blow dryer, you're going to start when your hair is damp, drying up your root throughout your entire head, from root to the mid-shaft. You want to do that until your hair is about 80% dry. Then you'll start working with a brush, and get creating the style that it is that you need. If you're looking for curl yet your hair is not curly, then you're going to want to use a curling iron, in order to get the curl and desired look that you want to achieve. If you're looking for your hair just to be straighter, if it is straight or if your curly-haired and you want your hair to be straight for a day, you then move on to more of a flat iron, which will then pull your hair and get your hair to that straighter style. Again, these are the essential tools that you would need in order to style your hair. How you style it and what tools you will use will change, not only with you on a daily basis but also over the years and your style. And that is how to style your hair."
