"Hi, my name is Lauren and today I'm here to discuss tips for drying hair faster. After you get out of the shower, what you want to do is maybe like keep your towel on your hair a little bit, let it really soak up that excess moisture that is in your hair. You can also ring your hair out after you remove the towel by simply putting your hand, hold your hair as if it's a ponytail and then just kind of slide your hand down and get some of that added water out of there. Once you get most of the excess water out, you're going to want to start with blow drying your hair. A good rule of thumb is to continue to not even to pick up a brush until your hair's about 80 percent dry. You're going to simply use your blow dryer and you're going to dry from your root to your mid-shaft by lifting and directing the hair in the opposite direction of where you want it to fall. And if you're looking to get height and in the same direction as you want it to fall if you're looking to have more of a sleek look. You're going to do this around your entire head. Just using your hands and the blow dryer until your hair is about 80 percent dry is going to shave minutes off of your drying time. After you are done doing that, you are going to simply put your hair in sections and in order to dry your hair. Now a good rule of thumb is, if you're looking, normally people go sections horizontally where they go up each section and they continue to work their way up. You can in fact grab your sections on a vertical which will actually get more of your layers, it will actually style your layers how they should be styled without all the excess work of doing numerous sections. You're then going to want to roll them, heat them up and then use your cold button in order to set your style. If you set your style after you do it, you will not have to go back in and re-fix some of your other areas that you've now left. Another great way to add onto your drying time is to use a concentrator which is an attachment that sticks on to the blow dryer and it will concentrate all of the air in the spot that you're looking to dry. It'll prevent fly aways, it will prevent you from ruining what you've already dried and it will also concentrate that heat which will in turn make your hair dry quicker. So those are just a few tips on how to make your hair dry quicker."
