"Hi my name is Lauren and today I'm here to discuss how to get rid of dry hair. One of the best things you can do for your hair is take precautionary measures. Wearing hats during the summer when the sun is the strongest will prevent your hair from getting sun damage and being dried out from the sun. Also being wary when you go into chlorine water or salt water will also help prevent your hair from getting damaged or dry. A good way to prevent your hair from seeping in the chlorine or else salt water which is dehydrating is to wash your hair or wet your hair with fresh water before you go in. So before you jump into the pool just make sure your hair is already wet. Your hair will then have all the moisture that it can hold so therefore will not grab the chlorine out of the water. Or the chlorinated water. Another good thing to do is to watch how often you're shampooing. Only shampoo maybe like once, twice a week if your hair is very dry. You're also going to want to use shampoos that are designated for dry or damaged hair. Another great thing is to use your leave in conditioners. Leave in conditioners come in many different creamy consistencies, sprays and also oils. Leave in conditioners are going to help your hair have continuous moisture on it which will then, in fact, cure all dry damaged hair. If you're looking just to add a little bit more dry moisture down to your ends and not necessarily your root. Its important to put on just mostly on the ends of your hairs so that way your hair will not be greasy or anything on top. And that way you'll get to, you won't have to wash your hair as often. Your own natural oils which are coming from your sebaceous glands will prevent your hair by your root area to get dried out. If your hair is still dry I recommend seeing the alcohol content within your products or maybe switching your products up. Alcohol can be very drying and its found in a lot of professional hair styling products. Hair spray is very heavy with alcohol. So maybe your using or adjusting the products that you're using can also help prevent you from having dry hair. And again leave in conditioners are crucial because that way you're always feeding your hair with moisture. And that is how to cure dry hair."
