"Hi my name is Lauren today I'm going to discuss how to make your own hair gel. You can actually make your own hair gel rather than going to a store and buying them. If you grab a hand full of flax seeds and you use a 1/2 cup of water, put the 1/2 cup of water in a pot and boil it on low. Once the water gets to a boil you're going to add the flax seeds; the flax seeds before you place them within the boiling water you should rinse with cold water just to make sure that they're clean. Once you put them in the boiling water you're going to allow the flax seeds and the 1/2 cup of water to boil for about 2 to 3 minutes. When that is done you are going to strain the liquid out, and you are going to let the liquid sit for about 10 to 15 minutes. It will begin to congeal and harden and form more of a gel type consistency. You can use that in order to style your hair. You may use it and keep it within the refrigerator, so that way it stays fresh. You also may jar it and leave it at room temperature, because the gel consistency will remain. Another quick easy way to actually style your hair if you don't have much gel or anything to make it, is to actually use a fresh lime. You can actually squeeze a fresh lime and you can squeeze the juice within your hands and use the lime juice in order to style your hair on the go. Now I do not suggest using the lime juice as a way to style your hair for any more than 2 or 3 days, because of the acidity of it. It may alter the PH within your hair and dry your hair out by creating damage. But it is a quick fix, easy on the go way to actually style your hair. And that is how to make your own hair gel."
