"Today I am going to answer the question what is artificial baits? There are all kind of baits out there that resemble bait fish, worms, grubs, whatever and anything that is not natural that is an artificial. So I'm going to show you the different types of artificial lures that we have and we have got a few right here. First of all we have artificial frogs, very realistic, somewhat soft bodied, just like the real thing and it really looks like a frog when it is swimming through the water. Then we have our artificial minnows. This one is artificial, it is a perch color, resembles a perch quite nicely. Then there is other ones, other larger minnows, all different colors and we have our crank baits which resemble more sunfish patterns or shad patterns that are fat and chunky, and then of course we have our plastic worms. We have plastic grub worms here. We have grubs, split tail grubs that are reminiscent of grubs and even crawfish. These all fit different styles of fishing, different type of fish but they all mimic some kind of a living creature and they are made artificial, same with a jig. That could be anything, crawfish, it could be a leech, it could be all kinds of different things but these are all examples of artificial bait and I hope you learned a little bit about them today."
