"Today I'm going to show you a few tips on how to fish the head of this pool here. Basically the way you would fish on this pool, where you see that white water between the two rocks over there, that is an ideal spot for fish to lay. What they'll do is they're going to wait for the bait to come over there to the top of that ripple and into this pool. Wherever that white water is, just below it, fish are going to stage there and they are going to wait for bugs and whatever else to come over top of that. That's one of the areas you might want to fish. There is a rock protruding over here about ten o'clock from where I am and right behind the rock there there is a little bit of calm water. Fish will hold in that water right there. Again it breaks the current up and it brings food to them. Then down lower across the river you see a calm spot between the two fast white waters. Fish stage in those areas and again it is because there is a current break. They lay on the seam between the fast and the slow water and they wait for fish to bait or bugs to come down through there and that way the bait comes to them. It's like a food line. It comes to them and they don't have to move and that's just a couple of spots that you can fish in this type of water."
