Now a commercial fisherman industry is kind of a hard job to get into because of the fact that most of these fisherman and owner's of the fisherman boats have been in the family for years. And you need to have a lot of knowledge to become a commercial fisherman. The best thing you can do is go up to the docks or if you know fishermen, ask them. Say you know can I get my foot in the door. Cause you are going to need a lot of experience, takes a lot of time to know how the boats operate and what's required to become a commercial fisherman. You are going to need a coastguard license to be a Captain. You are going to need to be licensed in marine fisheries and you need to know all the laws. And the best thing you can do is gain experience, try to get a job on the boat and then eventually you'll gain the knowledge and you can break out on your own as a commercial fisherman."
