"Alright, what to look for in buying an electric guitar it depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking to start a band and make it in the music business, you're going to want to invest a lot into a nice guitar. It doesn't have to be super nice. I wouldn't spend less than $500 dollars if you are really serious about a guitar a lot of it is feel. When you go into the music shop and you just kind of feel the guitar, the neck if it's big or small, that's a lot of a preference thing too. I mean if it feels good, then that's a plus for you but then you know I'll look at the price. I'll look at the brand. The brand is very important too. I mean, Gibson is a good brand. Fender is a good brand. There's a lot of different brands out there. If you've never heard of it before, then I'll be weary. If it comes in a box, I'll be weary. If you're really serious about it but at the same time, you know if you're not serious, if you just looking for something to jam on, you know two hundred guitar that's fine but definitely if you're going to be touring or recording, anything that feels comfortable to you and it's above five hundred dollars, then I'll go for that."
