"How to sell your music? Well, there is a very important thing when it comes to your band. It's also very exciting thing you can do. There are many different ways to do it and all of them work really typically well. First of all when you have your songs recorded, you can always sell them on a CD. This is a usually pretty practical way to do it especially if you're playing a lot of shows 'cause you can have CDs to sell at your show, along with merchandise, t-shirts, anything like that. It's an easy way to get out there, hand your CD to anyone in the crowd and have them pay for it. It's a good way to do especially if you're playing shows. There's also way to do it which kind of gets to a more broad audience; you can put your music on iTunes, which everyone knows what that is. It's a very easy thing that people can go on their computer and download songs, whether it'll be a whole album or one song. What you need to do is just get your music to a company like CD Baby and they'll take your stuff and put it on iTunes. Once they're on iTunes, you see a percentage of what people pay to get your song. That's a great way to do it, if you're playing shows, if your songs are on Youtube or you're on Myspace, people can see to your stuff; go to iTunes, pay for your music. One of the good things about Myspace, Facebook or a Youtube is it's pretty much free advertising. You're getting your music out there to fans. So it's a good way to get it out there so people can go to your website, order a CD or go to your Facebook or Myspace page and then go to iTunes and order it from there. So that's a good way to sell your stuff."
