"Do you and your kids find yourself getting sick very often? If this is the case, your immune system may be shut down. But worry no more I am here to help. I'm Isabelle Simon your personal and workplace wellness consultant, and today we're going to learn what improves your immune system. First things first, proper nutrition. You want to make sure that you and your children drink, eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, those are packed with minerals, vitamins, antioxidants. Nine servings a day is the recommendation that everybody should have every day, nine servings of fruits and vegetables. Number two, get plenty of water, if you don't drink enough you get dehydrated and the toxins stay in, you want this to stay out, right? Recommended amount is half your body weight in ounces of water. And for me this is my recommended dose right here, one full bottle of water is what I carry around and drink throughout the day. Once I'm done with my bottle I know I have drank enough water for the day. Get plenty of rest. If you don't get enough sleep you'll get tired and more prone to catch the first bug that comes your way, so that's another way to build your immune system. Relax, the way if you're very stressed it will shut down your hormones that regulate your immune system, so you will want to do plenty of fun activity with family and friends, sports is good, exercise is good. Something you can use is a supplement packed with echinacea, zinc and vitamin C that have been proven to boost your immune system, and it comes in a little tablet form here, it's called Best Defense, and all you need to do is drop 1 tablet right here in a glass of water and drink 1,2 or 3 a day as needed. And all these tips I hope will help you build your immune system. I'm Isabelle Simon your personal and workplace wellness consultant, and remember good health begins with good nutrition."
