"This is Athena Reich, and I'm a musician and an actor here in New York City, and I also coach both music and acting. In this clip I'm going to talk about how to make a singer bio. A singer bio is basically one page about you. It talks about your experiences, your story, and what's unique about you. You can see on my bio I have my logo here, and I have a specific font that I use. So I try to have, you know, something different to stand out from the crowd, so you can have your own little heading. And at the footer here, I have my contact information. Now, in the bio, in your singer bio, you have to think about, it doesn't have to be a full page, by the way, if you're overwhelmed by that. It could be three quarters of a page. You could use a larger font. But what's really important is think about what's unique about you. And put it....yourself in the framework, in the mindset of the people who are going to be reading your bio. What will be interesting to them? Is it that you come from a small town and you taught yourself to sing, and you were performing, you know, in front of football games when you were three years old? You know, what's the life story about you? And then also talk about the style of music, and your accomplishments. Have somebody proofread it. Make sure it's very professional. This has been Athena Reich on how to make a singer bio."
