"Let's talk about how to take care of a Himalayan kitten. Himalayans are pretty popular type of cat and there are some things you need to know about them. They are unique. Probably the biggest thing is going to be that pushed in face. So, talk to your veterinarian clinic if you rescued or adopted or buy a Himalayan kitten, the first thing you want to do is have them examine to make sure they don't have any internal parasites and then help them guide you and give you advice on what's the best way to take of one of those types of kittens. If you have a Himalayan kitten, you want to feed it a good nutritional type of food. For kittens, you also want to use a good quality litter and you also want to get them use to especially brushing and cleaning around their face. Himalayans have that push in nose and they also have large eyes and so they very commonly have eye drainage. They very commonly can have hair growth from right around here on that nose that can touch the eyes. They also can get nasal discharge that accumulates right here, and they also have a lot of hair that can be matted. So, get them used to brushing and being handled. Get them used to taking a just wet wash cloth and having their eyes around in that nasal fold right there being cleaned and talk to your veterinary clinic about overall health care and what they need."
