"Hi, I'm Kelli. I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics and I'm going to talk to you a little bit about what age your skin will start to age and you'll start to see your first signs of fine lines and wrinkles. It's really important to get on a good skin care regimen even as young as twelve and thirteen. Just getting on a good facial cleanser and facial moisturizer because basically if you look at the layers of the skin you'll want to think of your moisture barrier, which is part of the outermost layers of your skin. That's the roof of your house and your collagen and your elastin are the floors underneath. So, you want to make sure that you're keeping that outermost layer, that moisture barrier really healthy, so that you don't get holes in your roof and cause the floors underneath, which would be your collagen and elastin to break. So, definitely getting on a good skin care regimen as early as you possibly can is the most important thing that you can do to help prevent premature aging. And definitely by the time you're eighteen to twenty one you should be doing a full skin care regimen and an eye cream, because if you smile for me. When you smile and you start to see like these little expression lines, that repetitive motion over time can break down your collagen and your elastin and cause lines and wrinkles. So, if you're constantly keeping your skin really healthy, just with a good skin care regimen and keeping it well moisturized you can start to prevent those first signs of aging very early on. So, that's a little bit about at what age your skin will start to age."
