"Hi I'm Kelli I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and cosmetics. And I'm going to talk to you a little bit about how to control acne naturally. One of the most important things that you can do is make sure that you keep everything antibacterial. You can cleanse your face with an antibacterial facial cleanser. Make sure that if you do talk on the phone or touch your face a lot your hands are clean and you clean your phone with a disinfectant. Change your pillow case very frequently because that will harbor a lot of bacteria as well. Don't wash your face with a wash cloth or a sponge, and if you do make sure you are changing it daily. Or washing it daily. Another thing that you can do is to drink a lot of water. Water helps to flush any toxins from the body and that will help to clear your skin as well. You want to also eat a healthy diet. Foods high in fat and that are unhealthy can also lead to bad skin. And a couple of other things that you can do is just make sure you are using products that are going to control the oil. Most of the time acne is caused just from too much oil within the skin which can lead to clogged pores and you can also want to make sure you exfoliate, exfoliating. Acne skin basically produces up to four times as much dead skin as a normal skin so you want to make sure you are constantly efxoliating and sloughing off that dead layer of skin. And you also want to make sure you are using products that are not irritating as well. So those are some things that you can do to prevent acne naturally."
