Video Transcript

"Hi, my name is Sarah Bader, and my farm is Lavender at Stonegate, in Westland, Oregon, and the question is, how do you use lavender, to repel fleas? Well, believe it or not, lavender can be used to repel fleas naturally. In fact, I know some farms that actually make a bandanna out of lavender flowers, to go around their dog's neck, to repel fleas. There's also lavender dog shampoo. You can spray a lavender spray, or a hydrosol on their bed, to be able to keep fleas away. What you want to do though, is just look online, and look up lavender and flea repellents, and you could either make, say lavender bandannas yourself, with lavender buds, or you can look at any of the farms that might carry these products, and purchase them. You could also look up recipes, on how to make lavender water, and it's actually ok to spray on your dog, or on your dog bed, to keep the fleas away."
