"Hi, I'm Kelli. I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics and I'm going to give you some tips on how you can take care of your face. First thing you want to do is use a cleanser, appropriate for your skin type. The most important thing that you can do, you really want to make sure that you're removing any impurities from the skin as well as any toxins. As soon as we step outside, we have toxins, environmental aggressors, basically attacking our skin cells, so we want to make sure that we're washing them off twice a day. The next most important thing that you can do is to moisturize. Choose a moisturizer that's appropriate for your skin type. Your moisture barrier is your first line of defense against environmental aggressors and premature aging. If you think of in terms of it, as your moisture barrier being the roof of your house, your collagen, your elastin are the floors underneath. You want to keep that moisture barrier in tact so you don't get holes in your roof, so your floors don't collapse underneath. The next thing you want to do is use a really good eye cream. The skin around the eye is the thinnest most delicate skin on your entire body so you really want to protect that area and give, give it a lot of moisture. And the last thing is to use a sunscreen. Most important thing that you can do, ninety-percent of all premature aging comes from UV damage, so just by using a sunscreen every day, you can keep your skin really nice and healthy, and looking young. So those are some basic tips on how you can take care of your skin."
