"Hi, I'm Kelli. I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics and I'm going to give you some tips on how you can get rid of acne scars on the face. The easiest thing that you can do is to not pick at any blemishes or scabs on the face and go out to the sun without protection. Just by using a really good sunscreen everyday before you head outside into the sun, this can really prevent you from getting any hyper-pigmentation or any scarring of that sort. You can also use a peel. This is an everyday peel pad that you can take. And basically what it's going to do is it's going to exfoliate any damaged, dead, unhealthy skin cells and bring healthy ones to the surface. It's going to even texture and tone; also helps with lines and wrinkles. And another thing that you can do is to use a post-acne lightening gel. This actually has two percent hydroquinone in it which helps to lighten any discolorations and inhibit pigment from forming within the cell. You just want to make sure that you do follow up with a sunscreen if you do use a product like this. So those are some tips on how you can remove acne scars on the face."
