"Hi I'm Kelli, I'm an aesthetician and a makeup artist at Alta Salon and Cosmetics and I'm going to give you some tips on how you can choose eye shadow colors. First thing you want to look at is the undertone of your skin. An easy way to do that, if you'll just flip your hand over for me, and you look at the redness in the palms and the fingers and if you have more peachy undertones or red undertones, you're more of a warm complexion, if you have more blue undertones, you're more of a cool complexion. So she has definitely more peachy undertones to her palm and her fingers so we're going to know that she's more warm undertone which means she's going to look better in colors that are more golden based. Another thing you want to look at is hair color. Whether they have cool or warm tones to their hair and eye color. Blue eyes typically look better in peaches, golds, neutrals, peachy pinks, that type of thing. Green eyes look really good in plums and pinks. Hazel eyes look good in anything with jewel tone and people with brown eyes typically can wear almost anything based on what they're coloring is. So those are some tips you can use on choosing eye shadow colors."
