"Hi, I'm Kelli. I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics and I'm going to give you some remedies on how you can remove stretch marks. One of the easiest thing that you can do is you exfoliate the skin. Basically what happens with the stretch mark is, basically when the skin stretch, failing its capabilities, it snaps collagen elastin, damages a lot of the outermost layer of the skin. So exfoliating that off is going to help soften the appearance. You are then going to follow up with a really hydrating moisturizer. Cocoa butter, shea butter, really great moisturizers to help to soften the appearance and help to remove stretch marks. Also by exfoliating first, you're going to be removing that surface layer of dead skin so it's going to enable your moisturizer to penetrate and work better for you. So exfoliating first is a really great way. You can help to have your moisturizer work better for you. You can also get a stretch mark cream. This is StriVectin which is one of the top stretch mark creams on the market and you can just target this to any areas of concern; it also works really great for facial wrinkles, by the way. And this is going to help to repair the stretch mark damaged skin. So those are some remedies that you can use to help cure your stretch marks."
