"How to form a hard rock band, or any rock band. Could be soft or hard, doesn't matter. If you know somebody, if any one of your friends is interested, they don't really have to....if you don't play an instrument, but you're interested in it, and also you have a friend that maybe plays an instrument or that is interested in it just like you are, it's always better to go with that. Because a friendship and a bond is what's going to keep the band together, and that's very important. You don't want to be ending up changing members of the band constantly, or people that aren't committed, or. But you can't find people, if you don't know anybody, you can't find people, there's a lot of want ads, Craig's list. There's a bunch of musicians out there that are looking to get into a band for fun or for serious. Once you have the band together, you want to try to find places to play that are going to be more accepting of your style of music. You want to think about if you're gonna...if you want to record your music, how...if you're going to record it in a studio or at home. There's different things...if you want to just do it for fun, or if you wanna...if you're serious at it. Then definitely, going back to the strong bond thing that you have with the other members of the group. It's very important. You gotta be...you gotta pretty much have a common goal. You're going to differences no matter what, but you gotta have a common goal as far as the sound, your style, your image. There's a bunch of things that are very important for success in the music business, especially with all the competition. And you gotta be really serious at it. I mean, you gotta want it a lot to get into the business. And those are a couple different ways you go about forming a band."
