"Hi my name is Lauren and I am here to discuss how to make straight hair curly. For a temporary style and adding a little weight to your hair one really great tool is the curling iron. The curling iron comes in various diameters of size and depending on the diameter of size that you use or the barrel would depend on the actual curl of your hair. The smaller the diameter the smaller the curl so therefore the curl will actually curl around itself more because your hair will curl around the curling iron more. The best way to do his is to spray your hair with some sort of thermal protectant just in order to ensure that you protect your hair from the heat of the curling iron. You are then going to open up the duck bill, place the duck bill over and you are going to roll with the duck bill meaning that you want it to be flush against it and not turn it the outside way. You are then going to let it heat. You can touch it to make sure that your hair gets a little bit hot and then you are going to go through and do all your different sections of hair. You are going to spray your hair with some hair spray allow it to set for a few minutes before you then comb it through. You are going to actually rake through with your fingers because that will be the best way to add definition to the curl plus prevent it from being pulled out too much and will prevent frizz. Another great way to curl your hair and to make your hair curly is through rollers. You can set your hair dry with hot rollers or you can set your hair damp with velcro rollers or regular rollers. Again the size of the diameter of the roller is going to predict the size of the curl so if you are looking just for a little bit more of just a kick on the ends or a little bit more volume you are going to want to use a larger curler. If you are looking for more curl you are going to want to use your smaller curler and that is how you make straight hair curly."
