"My name is Lauren and today I am here to discuss if tweezing your upper lip hair makes your hair thicker. There are two types of hair that we have. We have vellus hairs, which are your fine hairs that you find along your face. They are very fine in texture. Usually a little bit lighter in color and they don't grow as long. Then you have your terminal hairs which they are the hairs that are actually on the top of your head. They go through a life cycle. So they sort of replenish themselves and grow in and replace themselves. When you are tweezing your upper lip you are actually going to be traumatizing you hair follicle. Although there is nothing that is said that absolutely your hair will grow in thicker. After traumatizing your hair follicle a numerous number of times your hair may decide to change up in its texture. It may change in it's texture and may appear to grow a little bit thicker because your hair follicle has been traumatized. When you pull it out, your hair follicle almost breaks and you pull it away from the papilla which is actually what nourishes it. If you do this over time what will eventually happen is your hair will ultimately start changing a little bit in texture. Whether or not it will actually become thicker depends on you own body and what happens while you traumatize that hair follicle. That's my answer to whether or not your hair will grow in thicker after a plucking."
