"Hi, I'm Tim Gipson, I'm going to talk to you about buying carpet. Now when we get ready to buy carpet what we want to think about is the type of carpet that we're going to be looking for. And we have wall to wall carpet such as the base carpet that's in this room. We have area carpets such as this one on top of the area. You have runners that you can buy for your stairs, runners for hallways, so once you've determined what type of carpet you need and what your application is, then you can start thinking about buying the carpet. Now carpet, if you're looking at wall to wall comes in different widths. May come in a nine foot width, may come in a twelve foot width and there are some special carpets that come in a longer width than that. So you'll want to think about how your room - what your room size is, see if you can get your carpet all within a width, 'cause that may determine the type of goods that you want to look at. From there, a good idea when you get ready to buy your carpet and you know your square footage of what you need or you know the size of the area that you need to put an area rug, then you can get carpet at your home improvement stores, or better yet there are a lot of specialty flooring stores that have outlet pricing for their flooring, so you can get a very good price per square foot by going to outlet stores. So I'm Tim Gipson with some tips about buying carpet."
