"Hi, I'm Tim Gipson, I'm going to talk to you about how to care for brass drawer pulls. And in this case we've got a single brass pull on this drawer and for most cases, all you need to do to care for this brass is to simply wipe it down, polish it up and you know, using any kind of standard cleaner. Now if you do start getting some tarnish on it, then what you can do is get a brass polisher, and it's a kind of a chalky looking liquid and we simply rub it on here and we buff it and what this does is it'll just buff any oxidation that might be collecting on the surface. It'll here adhere to that. We let that dry for a couple of minutes. And then once it's dry and you get a chalky appearance to your surface, then you just come back and just pretty aggressively buff it. Now once you do that, and you buff these in most cases any tarnishing that's happening or any oxidation or build up would just come right off and you'll get a nice, bright brass surface again. Now in some cases if you get some deep pitting or deep scratching then you might have to replace the knob altogether. But for most cases if you just use some regular cleaner, occasionally or use a brass polisher, you'll be able to keep your hardware looking nice. I'm Tim Gipson and that's how to care for brass drawer hardware."
