"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to talk to you about laptop cooling. You might be using your laptop one day and you notice that the bottom of your laptop is getting very, very hot. This can happen sometimes if you're not getting good airflow out of your laptop, or if air is not able to get into the bottom of your laptop so it can be sucked out by the fan and then pull that hot air out. So several things you can do about that. The first thing is, check the surface that you have your laptop sitting on, it needs to be a good smooth surface, you don't want to set it on top of a towel or if you use it in a bed, you don't want to leave it on the bedspread for a long time. It can actually cause problems if your laptop overheats because it can fry your CPU if it gets too hot. There's also some other things you can purchase for a laptop, and I'm going to show you an example of these here. These are called laptop cooling pads and if you just search Google you can find you know a good one, and they range from twenty-five to fifty dollars. As you can see this one here, it's important that it keeps - it adds a little bit of that elevation to your laptop so you get good airflow. And this one has a fan built into it as well that will bring in air from below the laptop and kind of circulate it, keep that circulation going, and it will keep your laptop good and cool. Here's another example of one, this one has a metal surface that will very, very effectively pull the heat off the bottom of the laptop, and it also has fans built into it in here as well for circulation of air. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just talked to you about laptop cooling."
