"Hi, lads and lasses. Have you ever heard of the poker game called Irish poker? Well, Irish poker is a variation of the game Omaha. Omaha is a game that's played where...because people love to get more money in the pot, and it let's them stay around a little longer. Irish poker, being a variation of Omaha, you deal four cards to each player. You would then...there will be a betting round after the four cards are dealt. Now, you can only play two of the four cards that you are dealt. You can not use all four. After the initial betting round is over, you would then, like a regular game, you would deal out the flop. You would deal three cards face up on the table. And at this point in time, the players have to decide which two cards they want to keep. They will then have to discard the other two. So if the board reads favorable to keep an ace and a jack, they would discard the other two cards. Once they've discarded those cards, they're gone. They can not use them anymore. The play would then continue with burning another card, and you'd go into fourth street, or the turn, betting actual go around again, people bet, and then they would turn the river. You would then use the five cards plus your two cards to make the best possible poker hand. It's a variation of Omaha poker, but it's a little different in the fact that you have to discard two cards at thee end, so you have to make your decision to how you'd make your best hand. My name is Dean Hale. Hopefully you'll find a little gold at the end of your rainbow, 'cause you just learned Irish poker."
