Video Transcript

"Are you out looking for antique china cabinets? I'm Blake Kennedy, and I'm at Patty and Friends Antique Mall here in Saint Petersburg, Florida. I'm here to help you. You want to make sure first of all before you even leave your house is you want to measure the spot and look around at some of the furniture you already have in your home. But you want to make sure that that antique china cabinet matches up with the dining table that you already have or the buffet that you already have. And even take pictures of it before you leave and take it with you because when you're going out shopping to the antique stores and the antique malls you want to have a pretty good idea that it is going to match up because it tends to change a little bit when you get there and the salesman tends to talk you into something. Know what you want because you have the Beaufort china cabinets. You also have the nice mahogany china cabinets that they called step backs where they had the serving compartments on the bottom and the china storage on the top for the presentation. Just you know, know what you're looking for when you get out because there's a lot to choose from, but if you're looking for a good antique one, you're going to spend a little bit of time because it's not like you're going to walk into the first shop and say there it is, that's the one I want because they're not making these in factories, it's antique, and you might have to visit several shops in several areas to find that special antique china cabinet. When you find that special one in that shop and you say that's the one that I want, don't hesitate about getting it because it's not like they can go out and buy another one once that's sold, so make sure that you're happy with it because it's something that you're going to live with with a long time. You're going to live with it for a long time. So make the deal in the antique shop and be happy with your purchase when you get it home. Good luck finding that china cabinet for your home. I'm Blake Kennedy."
